Bentley Bay North Description
Bentley Bay, Miami Beach, dubbed the "25-story-work-of-art-in-glass", are two luxury waterfront condominiums created by the renowned Miami architectural firm, Arquitectonica, and developer, Ricardo Olivieri. On the site of the fabulous former "Biscaya" Hotel (a Mediterranean gem once frequented by Al Capone) that was, sadly, imploded when it fell into disrepair, the even-more-fabulous Bentley Bay luxury waterfront condos are the first building you see to the left as you drive across the bridge from Miami and enter South Beach, and, as "cool" goes, the Bentley Bay North and South pair make an incredible first impression for their beauty.
Making the iconic and picturesque drive to South Beach from I-95 and downtown Miami across I-395, you leave behind the Miami Herald building on the left, as you cross onto Watson Island [home to the Miami Children's Museum and Parrot Jungle (now called Jungle Island)], pass the Miami Arena across Biscayne Bay in the distance to the right (as well as Port of Miami cruise ship docks), the entrances to Palm and Hibiscus Islands, and Star Island to your left, the ferry to ultra-exclusive Fisher Island and the Coast Guard Station to the right, and there, to the left, rise the Bentley Bay North and Bentley Bay South . . . and you wonder: How pretty can a building be? The striking parking structure on bottom covered in a sculptural, branch-like veil, and the graceful curve, like a sail, of these two luxury waterfront condominium towers with their clean lines, all done in white, give them a feeling as light as the Biscayne Bay breezes they enjoy.
On the opposite side of South Beach from the Ocean, on the western shoreline, Bentley Bay North and South condos offer fabulous waterfront views of Biscayne Bay and the surrounding islands. Bentley Bay residents also have a view, inland, over South Beach and the two towers are located just north of Fifth Street and the exclusive, creative, and eclectic SoFi neighborhood. Within walking distance to all of South Beach's many attractions, including nightlife, fine dining, and the fabulous beach, you can pull up to the Bentley Bay South by water and dock your boat (or yacht!), just like Al Capone and other infamous characters of his day did at the Biscaya, and you'll know, "No, it doesn't get any better than this!"
