South Florida is a great place year round and we enjoy all the seasons (even if you can’t tell the season’s have changed very much). However, South Florida has so many great events throughout the winter season. These events bring hundreds of thousands of seasonal visitors to our beaches, museums, restaurants and shops. For our out of town readers that are planning a trip to South Florida, here are just a few of the great events to look forward to.
Art Basel Miami Beach is the most important art show in the United States. As the sister event of Switzerland’s Art Base, the most prestigious art show worldwide for the past 39 years, Art Basel Miami Beach combines an international selection of top galleries with an exciting program of special exhibitions, parties and crossover events featuring music, film architecture and design.
Now in its 23rd year, The Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival (FLIFF) will roll out over 200 films from around the world. Filmmakers and celebrities will attend many of the screenings and events over the 37 day fest, October 14-November 20.

The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, the world’s largest boat show. Set over six locations in Fort Lauderdale. The show will feature more than 3 billion dollars worth of boats, yachts, super yachts, electronics, engines and thousands of accessories from every major marine manufacturer and builder worldwide.
